Course Description |
Scouts will complete their Archaeology merit badge through activities and work that they complete before arriving at the Iron Hill Science Center. A professional archeologist will be present to talk about the work archaeologists do. |

Current members of the Boy Scouts of America.Registration limited to 12 scouts. |

Cost | Program fee of $15.00 per scout - non-refundable |
Helpful Preparation | Scouts should bring blue card signed by their scoutmaster.
Scouts should bring a printed copy of the Archaeology Workbook - November 2023 edition and pamphlet 2022 edition. Prerequiste: #7a or #7b. |

Arrival | Plan to arrive 10 minutes early, late arrivals disrupt the workshop. |
Attire | Indoors and Outdoors. Wear casual clothes that are suitable for hiking. Also, water bottles and snacks are permitted. Insect repellant if desired. |
Parents and Siblings | Parents are welcome; however, because of limited Archaeology space, other children cannot be accommodated. |
Weather | Will be held rain or shine. |
