Course
Description
Scouts learn of the Lenape tribe of Native Americans who lived in the Iron Hill Area. Attend a native cultural festival.
See authentic artifacts and models of traditional dwellings.
Who can
participate?
Current members of the Boy Scouts of America. Registration limited to 15 scouts.

Helpful
Preparation
Scouts should bring blue card signed by their Scoutmaster.
Scouts should read and bring the following:
1)Indian Lore Merit Badge pamphlet, 2017 edition.
2)Printed copy of the Indian Lore Study workbook.
3)Completed requirement #3a or #3b or #3c from the Lenni Lenapi tribe.

ArrivalPlan to arrive 10 minutes early, late arrivals disrupt the workshop.
AttireScouts will be indoors and should wear classroom clothes. Bring snacks and a water bottle if desired.
Parents and
Siblings
Parents and siblings are welcome if they do not impact the program. Museum entrance fees may apply for parents and siblings who remain in the Museum as site visitors.
WeatherThe session will be held rain or shine.
