Course
Description
This merit badge guides scouts to the exciting, complex, ever-changing world of smartphone apps, computer software and tech-focused careers. Scouts may earn both Computers and Digital Technology merit badges.

Current members of the Boy Scouts of America.

Required
Preparation
Scouts must bring blue card signed by Scoutmaster to the first session. Scouts must (1) read and bring the Digital Technology Merit Badge Pamphlet. (2) be prepared to answer questions on required topics.

ArrivalPlan to arrive 10 minutes early, late arrivals disrupt the program.
AttireScouts will be indoors and should wear classroom clothing.
Parents and
Siblings
Parents and mature siblings are welcome if they do not impact the program. Sometimes, parents can assist the Counselor.
WeatherIn the unlikely event that a program is canceled, scouts will be notified.
